Oak Tree Barn looks great dressed as a rustic or bohemian style wedding, however could easily lend itself to any style or theme of you may decide to host. The venue and grounds are available for exclusive use, for your wedding party only.
To ensure your big day runs as smoothly as possible access for Summer weekend weddings is from 4pm on the Thursday to allow plenty of time to create your perfect day. The venue is then yours until the Sunday so you don’t just have an incredible wedding day, but enjoy a whole weekend of celebration surrounded by the people who mean the most to you.
For Summer midweek weddings, you can choose a Tuesday day hire or our 3-day package. With the 3-day option, you gain entry to the barn from 10 am on the Monday for setup purposes. From 4 pm, you can then make use of the cottage, providing you a relaxed evening to ready yourself for your special occasion. The venue remains exclusively yours until 11am Wednesday, ensuring ample time to enjoy every moment of your amazing wedding day.

PICTURE PERFECT
You and your guests will be wowed by the incredible views, with tonnes of awe inspiring places for your photo opportunities. There is nothing like a countryside view and we are lucky to have unrivalled views by the rustic bucket load.
At night the grounds are lit up with magical fairy lights, fire pits and lanterns to ensure a gorgeous glow once the sun sets.
A DAY OF DREAMS
At Oak Tree Barn we are licensed for outdoor and indoor civil cermonies in three different areas. So whatever the weather we can create your perfect ceremony.
What better way to say ‘I do’ than in our very special ‘Love Shack’ outdoor ceremony area during British Summer time. The stunning outdoor ceremony area features wooden doors, hay bale benches and reclaimed stain glass windows. You have the freedom to decorate your wedding aisle as you wish whether that be traditional vintage rugs, boho flowers and dried grasses or glowing lanterns. There are endless options that provide you with a stunning backdrop and unique celebration for up to 120 daytime guests.
For Winter weddings or if the British weather isn’t on our side, we can provide alternative options for your ceremony. In addition to our main indoor barn venue, we offer a cozy top hat tipi nestled in our scenic field, ideal for hosting intimate wedding ceremonies amidst nature's beauty.

We have ‘The Nags Head’ bar which is a smaller version of the main bar, cleverly converted from an old horse box. This bar is located at the top of the field with outdoor seating in the woodland area, next to the ‘Naked Tipi’ and fire pits. We open this bar to serve drinks to arriving guests and for your drinks reception just after you tie the knot!
Our main bar within the Barn is the ‘Tipsy Gypsy’ bar, nestled amidst a cozy arrangement of hops, sparkling fairy lights, and delightful hidden quirks. It stands as a charming addition to our venue, renowned for offering a diverse selection of popular, locally sourced soft and alcoholic beverages. From crisp draught beers to fruity flavored gins and celebratory glasses of Champagne, the Tipsy Gypsy bar caters to every guest's palate with its well-stocked array of tipples.

And last but not least…Our favourite bar of all, the one everybody loves - the Cocktail Vs Wiskey and Cigar ‘The Wonky Donkey’ bar. The specialist bar that comes alive at night, features signature drinks created by Tammy Jackson named “Queen of Cocktails” by the BBC.
With local ingredients kept in mind, our handmade cocktails offer a range of garnishes featuring candy floss, rose petals, marshmallows and cinnamon sticks, served in timeless stemware; turning cocktails into a whimsical signature serve to celebrate love. Not to forget our quirky, bespoke shot menu.
