At Oak Tree Barn we are licensed for outdoor and indoor civil cermonies in three different areas. So whatever the weather we can create your perfect ceremony.

What better way to say ‘I do’ than in our very special ‘Love Shack’ outdoor ceremony area during British Summer time. The stunning outdoor ceremony area features wooden doors, hay bale benches and reclaimed stain glass windows. The natural canopy provided by the lush foliage not only enhances the charm but also creates an intimate setting for exchanging vows, You have the freedom to decorate your wedding aisle as you wish whether that be traditional vintage rugs, boho flowers and dried grasses or glowing lanterns. There are endless options that provide you with a stunning backdrop and unique celebration for up to 150 daytime guests.

At night the grounds are lit up with magical festoon lighting, fairy lights, fire pits and lanterns to ensure a gorgeous glow once the sun sets.

The Nags Head

We have ‘The Nags Head’ bar which is a smaller version of the main bar, cleverly converted from an old horse box. This bar is located at the top of the field with outdoor seating in the woodland area, next to the ‘Naked Tipi’ and fire pits. We open this bar to serve drinks to arriving guests and for your drinks reception just after you tie the knot!

The Tipsy Gypsy

Our main bar within the Barn is the ‘Tipsy Gypsy’ bar, nestled amidst a cozy arrangement of hops, sparkling fairy lights, and delightful hidden quirks. It stands as a charming addition to our venue, renowned for offering a diverse selection of popular, locally sourced soft and alcoholic beverages. From crisp draught beers to fruity flavored gins and celebratory glasses of Champagne, the Tipsy Gypsy bar caters to every guest's palate with its well-stocked array of tipples.

The Soggy Saloon

As we cannot fully rely on the unpredictable nature of the English weather, we are pleased to offer our Soggy Saloon bar, conveniently located adjacent to our undercover ceremony area within our unique and charming tin hat tipi. This delightful space, beautifully furnished with enchanting fairy lights and vintage sofas, serves as the perfect setting for both pre and post-ceremony drinks, especially if the weather turns out to be damp or drizzly. Additionally, it provides a fabulous extra space to host various activities, including live bands, photo booths, and more.

The Wonky Donkey

And last but not least…Our favourite bar of all, the one everybody loves - the Cocktail Vs Wiskey and Cigar bar ‘The Wonky Donkey’ . The specialist bar that comes alive at night, features signature drinks created by Tammy Jackson named “Queen of Cocktails” by the BBC.

With local ingredients kept in mind, our handmade cocktails offer a range of garnishes featuring candy floss, rose petals, marshmallows and cinnamon sticks, served in timeless stemware; turning cocktails into a whimsical signature serve to celebrate love. Not to forget our quirky, bespoke shot menu.

We’ve carefully curated a beautiful selection of whiskeys to delight every palate, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. To elegantly finish off the celebrations, we also offer a range of exquisite cigars for your guests to indulge in and savor.
